Old World KK is pleased to announce the completion of the Genji Kyoto hotel development in Kyoto, Japan.
The Genji Kyoto hotel is a 19 room luxury boutique Hotel located on the banks of the Kamogawa river and is within walking distance of many of Kyoto's most prominent daytime and night time tourist attractions.
This development included:
Step-by-step acquisition of four side by side properties in the Gojo, Kyoto neighborhood
Acquisition of equity and debt financing
Initial hotel business model, design and brand concepts
Assignment of architects, designers and construction contractors
The setting up of the hotel operator and operations
The Genji Kyoto hotel was developed by Old World KK, a Japanese corporation with experience developing both traditional machiya guest houses and hotels in the Kyoto region.
